P5 Major Feature Release - July 14

P5 improvement activities continue with a planned release for this week. Here is an overview:


As we communicated last week, we are deploying a major feature and bug fix release tomorrow (Tuesday 14 July at 8.00am CET or 2.00am ET) to add to the player experience. The feature list includes:

- improved plates background

- new four-color deck

- faster game speed (end of hand in non-showdown situations)

- table highlighting when time to act

- lower memory consumption

- faster login

While the memory consumption may be somewhat lower, which is a good thing, memory usage continues to not drop after closing a table. It just builds up and builds up. This makes this new software extremely crappy for multi-tablers to use and the software needs to be shut down after a certain amount of tables have been cycled through. (which obviously interrupts all other tables one happens to be playing)

Nice try, keep up the marginal work.
