New Vent!
Just spent nearly an hour in the 15k guaranteed and over that time had less than 6 playable hands, winning two small pots and losing/bailing in 4. I decide to blow my 1000 chips (late position) on a K:spade:Q:spade: preflop and get called by a limped in A:diamond:5:heart:... Flop comes K:diamond:K:heart:3:heart: turn 6:heart: river 2:heart: for the tourney boot.... :( RNG hates me tonight...

Heh, I love and hate this game!....

$5+0.50 Tourney last night, first hand I get pocket tens, and two more tens on the board for a nice payoff, next two hands I get two full houses and take a HUGE lead in the tourney. :dance:

Fast forward two hours, I've been tourney chip leader almost all night, with one guy at my table occasionally passing me as the #2, less than 50 people left, with top-40 payout structure. I watch a few hands go by with no pocket cards to make a move with and drop to 5th in chip count (by other players passing me), now down to 42 players left. :jump:

K:club:Q:club: pockets, middle player (villian) calls BB, all others fold to me (in SB) and I raise 3xBB, BB calls as does the villian. Flop comes K:diamond:8:club:2:club: , I hit top pair with a flush draw and raise to 4k, BB folds and villian calls. Turn comes 2:heart: , no help to my Ks and I have worry about him having AA, though my flush draw is still live, I check and he checks behind me. River card is a Q:spade: , no flush or str8 possibilities, and I have top 2 pair, I raise 4k (he has about 8k left) and he raises all-in, I quickly call knowing I have any pocket pair beat and he turns over 4-2 unsuited for trip-2s ! I type in 'gawds ... 2-4' and he replies 'sorry about the bad call, I had a feeling'... I drop from 5th to 25th in chips and never really recover finishing in 20th. :sad:
