I'm looking forward to playing here against Tony Denison. The other on my list to collect chippies from, is the now WPT player Bob Goen.
Nice thing is  having them as celebs on Hollywood will allow me that chance. Gotta love it!!!!!!!!!!!! :waytogo: :waytogo:

Hmmm. I'd have go with Will Ferrell too. What an an absolute blast that would be. As far as poker pros goes, I'd say the Unibomber. It would be interesting to see how his animated antics translate online.
Cheers,
Christine

If I could play anyone on this site I would want it to be me. Though not truely a celebrity (I know this because there is no Gold Star in front of me when I sit in at the tables here) I still think that I would make the most interesting challenge for myself. I would love to sit across from this idiot and see what it is that tells folks that the pocket pair he is betting like Aces is really deuce/seven.
I feel strongly I could wipe him out in just one sitting, too. Not only because I would know his every move and counter with such devastating defenses but I could also exploit all his weaknesses with my brilliant offense. Another reason is that I know the limit of his bank account and one good house-cleaning is about all he is worth. I would own him lock, stock and barrel!!! He is mine!!!
But wait, afterall he is me. So I guess he'd end up with exactly what I started with which for him would be breaking even (except for the 'rip-off rake' - I read the other posts too) and that for me would be a very good day.
I also know the conversation would be first rate. Though it might tend to get a little boring as you see I've heard it all before. So many, many times before. Why can't this guy get some new material?
Anyway, it would be the experience of a lifetime and probably help to vastly improve my game by learning all of my glaring tells first hand. Seeing what must be so obvious to everyone else I've ever played with including my twelve-year-old daughter who sends me to the felt regularly. Though it would probably prove to be too impractical a task for you to accomplish, I was hoping that the most interesting pairing suggested here in these posts might have been arranged as sort of a reward for its insight, originality and the sheer entertainment value of it all.
If you can't arrange a seating with me, myself, against myself (not like it hasn't happened before as somedays I am my own worst enemy - and he knows it!) maybe you could get me a heads-up challenge with Jimmy Woods. I hear he plays here quite often and have seen him stream through the lobby on many occasions. Tell him beforehand though that I would want his best game - not the one he threw to Johnny Chan just so he didn't end up making Johnny look bad on that Celebrity Heads-up Challenge Program.
But then again, if you were able to do this for me it that might present me with some new personal challenges of my own that I'd have to work out. I'd then have to decide which one of me would get to play him. :starwars:

Tell ya what Aln, seeing that I kinda like this first fella I have met. I'm perty sure I would like to play this second feller too. Of course he'd have to have his own stack of chips also. I could probably arrange for a table where, for the right limit Jimmy would join and if I hold a mirror towards you. You could see this other YOU... not the cards of course cause Suzanne wouldn't like that at all :wagfinger You know how Suzanne would get if you broke her rules at hand Aln.
(I have to be careful hanging with you at times, you can get Honey into trouble  ).
Back to the two of you, Jimmy and I at the table.... this is a possibility I would look into. I would therefore have a chance at winning not only my idols stack (jimmy's again) but yours and your idols stack... (your alter ego's) and my challengers stack (yours of course) I think it's a perfectly WinWinWin situation for ME! :silly: :waytogo: So, your submission to who you want to play with the most! IS A GREAT ONE!!!!!!! I wish to submit as mine ALSO. THANKS ALN... yours such a sport!!! :hpmissspa :hugs:  :drummer: :worship:

Honey, did you just suggest a three-some with Me, Myself and Honey? What a great idea for a film. Maybe we could get Jim Carrey to play me . . . Wait . . . we could ask Jimmy Woods during our game with him to play me in the movie. Of course I'm not that intense, neither of me is, so Jimmy would have to tone it down a bit. A lot, actually.
You are a bad influence on me also. Here I am calling Mr. James Woods 'Jimmy' and I've not even met the man messaging in the lobby let alone having his permission to refer to him in the familiar. I mean it's not like he's ol' George living in the Whitehouse there, this is James 'frigging' Woods for chrissake!!!!! Shame on me . . . and shame on you for making me feel up to doing it.
As far as the stakes go, it would have to be mostly bragging rights (imagine James Woods earning the right to tell everyone that he beat Al N Smithee) as me and myself's bank accounts put together amount to about the same thing and that is no great amount. But if Hollywood Poker put up my stake and Mr. Woods his own, in a winner take all heads up tourney, I would agree that no matter who won the entire pot would go to one of the desperate and growing Katrina Relief Programs. I'd just like a shot at the bragging rights for myself, a chance to do some good and maybe an HP Shirt autographed by Mr. Woods - winning it figuratively 'off his back' as it were. I would be willing to do the same for him - or costar in his next film at a nominal fee. His option, of course.
Anyway, see what you can arrange. Both of me will be anxious to hear. (I am playing along until you say enough as I really have no Delusions of Grandeur. Mine are more like Delusions of Grand Mariner.)
But that being said, I also have a great poker based celebrity/reality idea for a TV Series to kick around. But we can discuss that at the table if the chat is private enough. I sometimes keep forgetting this is a public board . . . LOL
In the meanwhile, good cards to you there, Honey. And anyone else reading this who gives a :woot:!

Aww ty Al, but keeping with the theme of this thread, If you could play anyone........ I was lucky enough to play the one I would most want to play against and that being The Jimmy himself. I played a sng tourney game one night late, that's when he comes on most times due to the time difference. We chatted and had a great time. I played my best game and no he didn't let me win either. But I did. He proceeded to inform the lobby that I was indeed the best player in the world. Beating him LOL. All in fun, it made my night, my week, my total experience here at HP the ultimate. I must also share with you. that both Michael and Jimmy Woods are the most down to earth, approachable stars and I am sure you will see that over your time here on HP. When you see them sign in and speak to them in the lobby or at the tables. You will no doubt find out very quickly that they enjoy the banter at the tables and the challenges of the games with us members. Especially the ones like yourself that have the drive and humor.
I have enjoyed our banter posts and it's been my pleasure getting to know you better. ;)
