Yeah I have had some really ridiculous bad beats as everyone who plays poker alot has. Twice in one week I flopped a set of Qs on big preflop raises and had my opponent call big bets all the way to the river with a rag pair (9, and 3) to go runner runner quad. Twice in one day I flopped a boat with AA and KK and lost both to a quad...on the flop. AQQ to ppQ and KTT to ppT. I have lost with a nut str8 that turned str8 flush to a bigger str8 flush. A2345 to 23456. That one the guy only had the 6 of clubs and called to the river chasing his str8(without a draw on the flop)...needed runners 2c and 4c to get there. But my worst beat was the worst not because it was statistically worse, but because it was also on a bluff that turned miracle. Was playing 2-4nl and bet 30preflop with JJ against a crazy table. Fortunately I was already up 650 bux from 200 to 850 in like 15 minutes. So the flop comes J93 rainbow. I was on the button and 3 others had called. Well the bb goes all in 570, of course I have to call...I have the nuts and what could he possibly have? Higher pp, lower set,AJ, str8 draw? These guys are crazy and the pot was already very big...could be a bluff, but still I have to call. I call, he turns over Q9off...barely even a semi-bluff. I am relieved to see he is not on a draw. Only thing that can beat me is QQ or 99...at this point I am a 96.4 percent favorite...turn Q...ok now, cut this out, not funny...still 95.5 percent...he has one out....obviously this post would not be here unless the Q hit. Pain....agonizing pain. I am more pissed off that he won that big pot than I am that I lost it....what can you do....THAT'S POKER. Next hand I bet 50 with ppQ, had a rag flop, went all in for my remaining 150 and was called by AK....K came on the river......UGH!
