Thanks again to everyone who submitted articles for our weekly Write to Win contest :)

This weeks topic: Your favorite Casino!

We had a few excellent submissions this week, but these two in particular caught the attention of Hollay and I. So now it is up to you, the Hollywood Poker community! Vote for your favorite article and the winner will be featured in this week's Extra AND win a ticket to one of our exclusive Hollywood Poker tournaments.

PLUS, as always, one random voter will be selected to win some HP gear, simply for voting!

Article #1:

In 1970, when I was a much younger man, grabbed my wife and little girl and ran for the Nevada border. At the time, I was trying to escape some strangling situations that included “INLAWS AND OUTLAWS". I landed in Carson City, Nevada.

Right away, I took our first two paychecks and blew them on the Texas Hold’em table. When they say that it ‘takes a minute to learn’, they’re not kidding.

That casino was at the Carson City Nugget. To this day I still love the smallness of that club. I learned to deal Hold’em there. I will always have a special spot in my heart for that casino.

Article #2:

I am a seasoned gambler and I enjoy poker the most out of all games. I have played in over 50 casinos in many different countries and although almost all have something that makes them excel in an area, I found one that I truly love: THE MIRAGE.

It has 31 unbelievable poker tables with varying limits of 7 Card Stud, Texas Hold'em and for those High/Low Split enthusiasts, Omaha 8. What's your game? 3-6, 10-20, 75-150, 200-400 – it’s all there and the table action never stops. The setting is perfect for enjoying great poker action that is safe, friendly and my favorite: smoke-free.

The dealers are trained to run the games professionally, while the management
team and card room rules are your assurance that the games uphold the highest standards of integrity and fair play. They do not employ any props or shills which is something else I prefer.

For those of you who like tournament poker, The Poker Zone Tournaments are a
must play. One-table "satellites" are offered for a chance to win an entry into the event of your choice. Their tournaments are No-Limit, Limit, and Pot Limit and almost all are hold'em.

The poker room will comp players who have been at the table for long periods, so make sure you get your players club card and give it the Poker Room Manager as soon as you arrive. They will hold your seat and your chips while you enjoy the fabulous buffet. Line Up? No problem, they will also give you a pass to the front of the line so no waiting, eat and back to the action. The Mirage is considered one of the premier poker rooms in Vegas.

Another bonus is its location. It is in the centre of the action. Even if you are not playing there’s lots to do. There’s a tram in the Mirage to the Treasure Island Casino to watch the famous Pirate show. There's a volcano that erupts just down the street. I could go on and on! Vegas is full of free entertainment.

I can't guarantee you will win there but I will guarantee that you have an experience in a poker room like no other. The action is waiting for you - go get it!
