It's all about the poetry this week in our Write to Win contest! Here are this week's finalists - vote for your favorite!
Remember, the winner scores a HP tournament and a random voter wins HP gear!
Entry #1:
Sitting here with pocket aces
Mind wandering to other places
When the action comes to me
I raise the big blind by three
Two opponents call
Just then I drop the ball
The flop comes jack, king, king
I feel a little sting
Will my pockets get busted
Will they hold up
Pushing all in, I feel like a shmuck
Set of kings hold up
Pocket aces suck!!!

Entry #2
Skill or Chance
A Regular Joe, a character of some sort,
flew to las vegas wsop for entry and bet on sports,
he rubbed elbows with strangers and pro's alike,
who at times like bee's on honey saw him as
dead money.
yet he stayed the course, of an improbable feat,
through days on end, managed to stay in his seat,
withstood clay bombardments of those last seated,
until the very end when he was defeated.
but through it all he sat in awe of Johnny Chan,
learned poker lessons of patience and wondered
if he can? All while not trying to spill his beer as
he drank through the can.
