MTT's follow a simple rule of thumb. Winners do what losers wont.

The following is a list of adjetives that make up my style of poker ( I am not a professional, but I am sucessfull.)

winners wait
winners are aggressive with opportunity
winners know position
winners get cards
winners play cards
winners isolate
winners fold

I can not count the number of times I have been the low stack at 500 chips before I make my first move. Sometimes it takes that long.

When playing in my most recent MTT the 20k garauntee I was sitting at 20k. I had AA 3 times prior to this chip stack, and never hesitated to put all my chips on the table for this hand. I know that AA can be beat, but I have never learned how to bet this hand, so I push all in pre flop ALWAYS.

There were 645 entrants int he tourny, which is just below average. I am in about 11th place with 20k in chips. I am already in the money $75.00, but know and feel that this is a day I can make the final table.

In the 8th position I am dealt pocket Js everyone folds to me, I raise 5000. I am called immediatley by the Big Blind. Flopp comes J 7 Q , I hit my set and my heart starts pumping. Somehow I manage to check, hoping to get a bet then push all in. Im very suprised when I see my opponent Push ALL IN. I put him on a high pair AQ or KQ and call. He shows QQ and I am amazed once again by this lil game called poker.

Instead of doubling up and getting a garaunteed spot on the final table I am out 53rd making a whimpy 75.00.

I would play the same hand, the exact same way. Win or lose I played a great hand and I played a winner!

GL on the tables!
