Hi, my name is Bill or Kasilof I live on the dark side of the moon. Living is real easy on the moon, since there is no erosion. My apartment is expected to have a 500,000 year life with no maintence. Utilities are free too. There is a power grid of photovoltaic panels that cover the moon similar to a golf ball that provides constant power. You can only see them on earth with a high powered telescope. Only during an eclipse do backup capacitors, flywheels, and generators kick in.

Some of my hobbies are gardening, fishing, golf, flying, and of course playing poker online at Hollywood Poker. Gardening is more like picking, since no work is involved. I love my Cantaloupe, tomatoes, peppers, and fresh sweet green beans. As you guess most grow hydrophonically, but there is a also a wild dirt garden too, every plant is edible in my garden including some rare herbs. I caught a 15 lb wild cutthroat trout in Reservoir Number 7. These reservoirs have great fishing for trout, musky, and walleyes. There are two types of golf to play - inside and outside. They are two completely different games. Outside you can hit 1/2 mile drives, however I stopped playing when my best friend was killed when his suit sprung a leak. We buried him under the 18th artifical green. Indoor golf has air friction, and is a really skilled game. Wicked spins can be placed on the ball (however in my case they are usually unintentional slices or hooks). You can still hit the ball slightly father inside than on earth. Flying is another fun but dangerous sport. With proper equipment (wings), you can actually fly like a bird on the moon. The dangerous part is you can gain a deadly level of speed with a nose dive.

Good luck and hope you visit the moon sometime.

How interesting it all sounds. Certainly has alot of attractions that I would look for in a residence. Low maintenance. Low cost. Lots of greenery, plenty of vegitation. Sports activity and fishing... got to have my fishing!
But no mention of drinking....... water...... bathing....... laundry..... Drinks.. ice..... drinks lol.

There is wine, vodka, juice (pomagrante, grape, blackberry, apple), and water and no soft drinks (but no one wants them or cares) they are all manufactured or grown. Everyone has a 3 hour 3 day a week work day. Bathing I have a shower and large tub. Or I can swim in my pool. Or I can go to the community pool or lake. There is virtually no laundry, all clothing and dishes thrown away and incinerated. That is my job incinerating dishes. I sit in a booth and flip a switch for 3 hours. The ashes go back to the forest. It may seem strange but we have no paper or pens everything is done by computers. In the warehouse, we have a 37 year supply of dishes and constantly growing. with a 5 million year storage life or more. Laundry is similar, most used once and then incinerated, but some clothing from down below (earth) is cleaned. You don't clean it is someones job. Ice is easy, I have an ice despenser in virtually every room or the cafeteria. There is even an artic room if you once lived in Fairbanks and are lonely. Its kind of like living on a cruise ship but with more room.

The moon does not have the car culture like on earth. We generally take trams long distances. But, most it is walking. If you want to travel across the moon, you have to take a tram underground about 1 mile away from the domes. The reason for this is to prevent dust landing on the domes, you can't drive within 1 mile. We drive electric cars with lithium-ion batteries. It may seem strange but the cars have 2000 mile range (on longer) and the base has yet to record one breakdown or tuneup. The added weight of the batteries helps performance. Of course they routinely change the batteries every few years. We have car races and such, camping, and exploring.
