When you vote in the Weekly Poll, you are automatically entered into a draw to win HollywoodPoker.com gear! This kind of motivation will have you pumping your fist in the air, shouting, "Oh yeah!"
This week’s poll question: Do you use the pre-action check boxes when playing online poker?

Happy Friday to you Hollay :) and to All the HP gang behind the scene
I use it alot. I play while I'm working only to find, :roflmao: I change my mind once the flop flops and scapper my mouse back to try to uncheck it to stay in... the hand, of course I miss it and find I folded myself  out of a good hand. So, I'm trying now to get out of a bad habit I trained myself to do
Thank goodness, I find ME the funniest one I know! For if I don't laugh at myself..... at those times, I sure would have a hard time spinning in circles trying to kick my own butt!!!
 :moves: :roflmao:

Yup it's a handy tool. I use the fold or check and check/fold. Gives me and extra couple of seconds to run for a cup of joe. Or just kick back and wait on the slow pokes you know the ones they let the meter run out instead of folding.
How ya doin Honey ;)

All The Time But They Dont Work Right.
I Can Press The Fold Button When Everyone Is Just Betting The Blind And If Someone Raise Then The Option Becomes Unhighlighted. For Instance Blinds Are 30/60 And Its Going Around The Table I Allready Click Fold And Someone Raise To 200 And Then The Fold Isnt Highlighted Anymore. Well If I Am Not Going To Call A 60 Blind Then Do You Think That I Am Going To Call A 200 Dollar Bet? Nooooooo!!!!!! And Then I Click On Another Screen And I Come Back And I'm Away And Then I Miss A Good Hand Cause Of The Stupid System Not Working Right. Lol Don't Bother Telling Support They Haven't Done Anything So Far, And Its Allready Been A Few Months.

I use it to fold and check/fold. I've noticed the same problem with it as TWS. :waytogo:

Yes...and I wish more people would use them, or make their decisions just a little faster...the game is slow enough already without having to waste time waiting on obvious folds.

I think they are like any tool, if used right, and at the right times, they can help you. If used wrong,,,they can really cause problems...I only use them when I have determined my next action, and it is to check, or fold...

I just use to check fold, but I watch other players what they do with it as well, When some one uses it to call, the action is instant and it can give you some information about that players hand, for instance that he has previously decided that he is at least going to call that bet or any bet. This and other betting habits help you "read" a player online which is normally difficult at best.

I like to use em like he said to fold so u can run off a min- But HP's u still have to check them again AFTER You already Checked Fold; Why Bother!
Kinda ticks me off run to kitchen to find I am sitting out cause I didnt check it again.
If I don't use em here; I sometimes get folded when trying to bet; cause I have a "slow connection".
Some times; mostly at other (un-named) places. The Darned Check switched to a BIG Bet or ALL in when you hit it. Out a game pretty Quick like that.

If you multi-table, and want to lose as much money as possible in the shortest amount of time, you it's imperative you use these buttons. If you hold up games when you multi-table, and don't use these buttons, you are officially a doucheclown.

I used to use these quite often, as they do seem to speed the game up. I hate waiting...and waiting... and waiting for another player to act, only to have him/her check after the endless wait.
However, while playing in 2 games at the same time, on one of my tables,I was the second to act after the button. Just as I went to click the check button, the player just before me made a huge raise, and I quickly ended up calling his raise. Considering I had some questionable cards, this was a BIG BOOBOO!!!! Needless to say, I lost the hand, most of my chips, and shortly thereafter, the game.
Now I only use to buttons for checking or folding. Learned my lesson!
