I need an octagon poker table or top (*not* a folding one!) - can anyone recommend a nice one? I play at a local pub in a weekly free tournament, and they have these nice octagon table tops that read "Hollywood Poker.com" right in the middle of them - anyone know where to buy one of these?

why don't you make your own?

felt is cheap and you can design your own...

failing that... EBAY:happy:

I don't want to make my own because it would be a big production to make a nice one, and I don't think I have the skills, the time, or the equipment to do it right. I've spent hours searching Ebay and Googling the web looking for round or octagonal poker tables or poker table tops - I've found many, but without seeing it in person it is hard to judge the quality. These things cost around $100 to ship, so returning it if the quality is poor is a very expensive option.
Let me be more specific in my question: I'm asking for a recommendation for a round or octagonal poker table or table top, preferably 60 inches in diameter, from someone who has actually played on the table and can attest to it's quality.

My friend actually has this table (the second one down on this page, I think it's the P841B)...

His is a burgundy top and it's really nice. We go there about once a month to play. That thing is like 7' long though - so you need to have some room.

Have you thought of just Asking the Pub, where they got theirs?

You might even try sneeking a peek at the box they came in, for the address.
