Just could not bring myself to publicly admit the truth ("I STINK.....") so I chose "Could use some.......... ." As I've said more than once, if I knew how to play I wouldn't be playing the 25 cent tables and would be playing the $100 tables !!

Holly, this drawing is FIXED !! You guys have purposely sought to deprive me of that damn hat most likely by the use of a criminal conspiracy (Think RICO here............ please tell me Danielle is not involved in this sordid depravation ??) I know it's FIXED cause I ain't won. I support this site to the point of forming an illustrious and noteworthy committee* made up from the FINEST (REAL) PLAYER names to assist in addressing the many problems associated with a fast growing site. AND NO DAMN HAT !! I'm tellin ya it is FIXED !!
*Please see "BACKSTAGE Forum, the first post by Charles - "Personal Attacks" for a full and complete committee member list plus alternates. In the event I'm unable to attend a committee meeting, AAss Blaster and TastyTurd3 are the alternate chairs. (YES, those are REAL player names !)

I STINK!!!!!!!!!! I play a good game but when I get close to the money, things go haywire. I know I take more chances then I should but I still do it and lament later. Once I break a few bad habits, not that I don't win once in a while, i'll be in the money. Hmm breaking bad habits. That is just in time for the Season coming, New Years Resolutions. One thing I can say is true! Follow your gut feelings, Way more times then not, when I have a good hand but am not feeling good about it and still play, I'm the loser. :spade: DMA

I'm pretty confident about my poker skills --I have made ginormous advancements since I have started playing online --The only problem is I would say that poker is only about 90% skill and 10% luck --my luck is sorely lacking. I have sat down at many a table with players who have no skill, no panache, and all the subtlety of a rhino on the charge, players that should have stayed out of the hand. Time after time they back into the most amazing hands!! I guess the term "dumb luck" is appropriate.

My level of play is sometimes really bad, as in one hand, and poof, its over. Sometimes its good, as in I make it into the top 10% in a tournament. And every once in a while, I kick everyones butts....lol The intangables there include mood, health, and other things going on around me at the time. I prefer the A game, it pays better...

even the pros who are currently happy with their game would also admit that they still continually want to improve it.
Anyway, as with anything else I do, personally I am always looking to improve.
Those who are 'happy' with their abilities . . . and especially those who feel they have 'mad skills' . . . put them at my tables, please. If they are truly better than I then that is the best way I know how to improve my own game - by playing people better than me. And, if on the other hand, these folks are not . . . I could sure use the money for the holidays. Either way, in the long run, I win.

They say the hardest thing to know is yourself...at least honestly. This was a hard question. I don't suck at this game, can always use improvement and yet made money this year playing mostly low level NL games and tournaments. I feel I am a far better tourney player than a cash ring game....I have patience, know the math and like the percentages of gain for the investment. Good luck all in the coming year....
PS Did I win a hat or shirt, a pair of slacks or star of my own on teh hollywood poker hall of fame....
