While I was on a poker cruise last year, James Woods, (who’s usually harassed by fans) was harassing fans to tell him these bad beat stories. Hearing about bad beats for 20 minutes or so is not that bad, but this went on for days until eventually even fans were walking away from him.
Jimmy: Cool it on the bad beat stories, but keep up the game!
No one really likes to hear them – well, maybe on occasion they do, but not as much as he tells them.
In fact, I offered him a hundred dollars if he would never tell me another bad beat story. I stuck a hundred dollars in his pocket and said, "Don’t ever tell me another bad beat story on this cruise." He couldn’t do it, he broke down he had to give me the hundred back.
Better luck next time, Jimmy!
