I have not been able to send Invite-a-Friend emails to anyone for the last 3 days. Is there a limit ot the number of emails I can send out in a week? (I know there is a limit of 10 bonuses claimed per week.)
Have any of you had trouble sending the referral emails?
Also, does the week long window for getting those 10 bonuses run from midnight Sunday to 11:59 pm Saturday? Local time? GMT? What?

I had been trying to send 5 emails. 2 went through last night. The other 3 still give me an error.

what is the deal? Now I have people who I have entered in to the Invite-A-Friend page who are saying they have not received them.

Patricia, I still have not been contacted by anyone. The problem seemed to have cleared up a little late yesterday but the same thing is happening again today.
This is very bothersome and should be easy to fix. Moreover, it is costing Hollywoodpoker a lot of new customers!!!!
I (and my referrals) are losing confidence that Hollywoodpoker is acting in good faith with respect to their advertised bonus/sign up offers. This delay seems like a way to circumvent paying these bonuses.

Be assured that they are looking into it. Hollywood Poker isnt about to "welch" on the bonus's, but im sure it takes some time to look into matters like this. Emails have to be followed and tracked, ect ect.. just have faith tiger, lol

they could at least contact me and tell me what they are doing.
When I call them, they say "Just give us the email addresses and we'll send them out from this end."
Three days later and my referrals STILL haven't received their email
How freaking hard is it to just do what you SAY you're going to do?
I'm not playing one more hand til this is resolved. They are cheating me out out 5-10 referrals which is $250-$500!

We are so sorry for the problems you are having. The invite-a-friend program is new and we are still trying to work everything out. We are working on getting it resolved for you and will let you know the minute we have a solution.

Okay I have some answers for you. The system is set up so that you can only send out 10 emails in a 7 day period. So if you send out 10 on Monday you can't send anymore until the following Monday. Likewise if you send 5 Monday and another 5 Saturday you will be able to send 10 more on Monday.
If you get the error again could you please let us know exactly what it says, that will help us determine what is going wrong.

your guidelines say nothing about being limited to 10 emails in a 7 day period. They do say that a person is limited to 10 bonuses in a 7 day period, but certainly I might send out 20 emails to get 10 takers.
Why not change the system so that unlimited emails can be sent but only 10 bonuses (per week) can be credited? And the guidelines need to be updated to address this as well.
Thank you though for your help. Hopefully we can get the policy changed to what I outlined above.
