A good time was had by all and some great Poker was played by the final 6. At the table for the HAGS was HONEY, semperfiwm, and kelliekrop. Representing the HOGS was calo4, razumi and AuditingU. After a fierce early battle the HOGS 1 by 1 eliminated the HAGS leaving kelliekrop in a 3 on 1 situation and she went down after a furrious fight.

The HOGS then duked it out with razumi retireing AuditingU and then calo4. There was a slight rumbling going through the crowd that if you listened real close, sounded like HOGS WIN HOGS RULE!

razumi has earned the title of BOSS HOG and we hope he takes his special other out for a little celebration on his winnings.

The HOGS Every Sunday at 6:00pm EST. the HP HAGS will play a 5$ tourney with a maximum of 20 players. It will be a Turbo with no rebuys and normal payout(50%, 30%, 20%).

Every Sunday at 6:05pm EST. the HP HOGS will play a 5$ tourney with a maximum of 20 players. It will be a Turbo with no rebuys and normal payout(50%, 30%, 20%).

At 8:30pm EST the top 3 players from each tourney will then play a final 10$ Turbo with no rebuys and WINNER TAKE ALL.

Signup will begin Sunday at 12:00am EST. This will be password protected so you will need to come to this thread to get the password each week. I will post it the day before game day at 11:00pm EST.

Winning HAGS or HOGS will get the pleasure of braggin rights for a week. :roflmao:

With the various possiblilties like prelim reg/final turbo, prelim turbo/final reg, both reg, or both turbo.

Also add whether 5 seats/table or 10 seats/table

Can do on same poll if you allow multiple answer voting.

My preference would be regular prelims as that is what most are used to and we all want our best representing us THEN switch it to turbo for the final in that our best should be able to handle that. Otherwise, some of our best may be forced to play early in a prelim and get knocked out by a lucky shot from someone else. Once in the final, that shouldn't be a factor. Will also help with the overall duration time factor.

Like the 5 per table also in that you can get more of a player mix as the tables collapse, get more people playing against more people match up wise. Again, would help with the selection process of finding those having the best 'game' on that day.

But anyway you do it, it is all good, Ducky. Great idea and great tourney had fun. Keep it going. Well, well done.

I agree with Al, I prefer reg tourney as opposed to turbo. I'm not much for the speed tourneys. But am up for the idea that the turbo portion be the final match between the Hags n Hogs.

But all in all, that was a great game and had lots of fun. Thanks again Duck!! Hmm maybe ducks are good for sumthin sides eatin, huh? ;)

I like the Turbo, since it does make the game finish faster, but since a few of our better players are against it, I think the idea of having the prelims at regular play, and the final table as turbo will work well for everyone. When the enrollment grows, as I'm sure it will, then it might be a good idea to make the tables shorthanded. Not sure how well that will work if we start getting more signups, but might be worth trying out at the beginning to see if it speeds the game up.

This tourney was a great idea, and I'm looking forward to next week's game. The time of the games work fine for me. Dinner was only slightly overcooked while I played and watched! :happy:
