how to recognize the stars.

Is there any way to know which nicknames the stars are. Are there names highlighted, or do they just use their real names?

When celebrities are at the table they will always have their real name. There will be a star beside the table name in the lobby and a star in front of them on the felt at the table.

...except sometimes their real names do not show, and show as like "Spidey57" instead! ;) ;)

This isn't totally true. I watched Willie Garson play in a tourney and his table name wasnt his real name, and there was no star beside his name.

Imallin, the reason for that is simple. We are partnered with another site for most of the tables you see. The ones with the asterisks (**) next to them are Hollywood Poker ONLY! If they are at one of these table you will see their real name and star. If they are at the partner tables then the stars don't work.

Now, with that said, we as players at Hollywood poker have the oppurtunity to fix this problem.The way it can be done is get more traffic at OUR tables not the others. If the stars see us at the HP tables, they will be happy to play there. I do think we need nightly and weekend (for you SavageJug) tournaments just for us. I would love to see that and will try to see what I can do about making that happen. Until then, don't forget about the Mike Woods Invitational Thursdays at 10pm est. That will have all HP people and celebs with bounties on there heads! :eek: The HP only tournies are the best!! See ya there!!

For instance, I played a 20 dollar MTT, yesterday... shared with PokerRoom and James Woods was playing under SlickKiller. Is there a list somewhere of their alternate names??

anyone know any other "alternate" names for the stars?
