Our newest addition to Hollywood Poker is our very own Poker Coach (http://www.hollywoodpoker.com/green-room/poker-lifestyle/poker-stories/poker-coach.html) :waytogo:

Ask the Coach a question and you could win a ticket to the Michael Woods Celebrity Invitational (http://www.hollywoodpoker.com/tournaments/michael-woods-invitational.html) tournament! Each week, a few of your questions will be featured in our own online poker magazine, The Green Room (http://www.hollywoodpoker.com/green-room/), and the player who asks the best question of those featured will receive a free ticket to the Michael Woods Celebrity Invitational (http://www.hollywoodpoker.com/tournaments/michael-woods-invitational.html).

In his own words...

I promise I will always try to find an answer for all relevant questions sent by players, even if it means researching things I do not know yet myself – I love learning about the game as much as I love teaching others about it.

So if you have any questions about poker and especially about strategy or ways to improve your game that you would like to have answered, please send them to me.

Good luck at the tables!

- Coach

Who is the coach? Will he reviews HHs and give us advice on how to play them better?

Hey Pro,

The Coach is our newest addition to Hollywood Poker :waytogo: Email your hand history to coach@hollywoodpoker.com and I am sure he would be happy to offer some advice. Plus the player who asks the best question of those featured will score a MWCI ticket

Please note, however, that The Coach will not review large blocks of hand histories.

Cheers,

Julie

why does it seem people chase to the river more often at online games than what they do at live games? This creates the online "rigged" theory and the never ending complaints about bad beats. I have never heard of the classic "rigged" theory for live games.

and is JJ really the voodoo hand (my new name for it)? why is it so hard to play this hand?

There is a 56.96% chance that the flop will contain at least one A, K or Q. So over half the time there will be a card that can beat your JJ appearing on the flop, perhaps this is why it is such a problem hand for so many people

Hi saltrio1,

Thank you for contacting Hollywood Poker support.

The WSOP Bubble Insurance is what you should have subscribed to if you had intended to participate in this year's World Series of Poker tournament If you had subscribed to the WSOP Bubble Insurance and finished on the bubble at this year's World Series of Poker, Hollywood Poker would have paid you the final payout amount (last year's final position paid $12,500) if you had finished within five positions below the final paid position.

More information about the WSOP Bubble Insurance is available here:

https://member.hollywoodpoker.com/tournaments/wsop-tournament-insurance.html

The WSOP Bubble Insurance is no longer available for subscription so don't worry. Just ignore it. We will get the button removed in the meantime!

Should you have any further queries, do not hesitate to contact us.
