Actually, we had 43 qualify the previous month, only 27 showed up, along with two celebs. So we're only up 7 in people qualified. We'll see how many show up this time :)

Did you take dibs on Schaf's bounty or booty? :rolleyes: I'll take whichever one you didn't :eek:

And if you dibbed both, I guess I'll take dibs on SamSal since she knocked me out last time when a Ten (I misremembered a Jack) hit on the river.

Just for a heads up, the date shown on the Stars Free Roll Ticket in my account is August 9th, 2006. I was wondering if this is going to cause any problems at signup?
It says the expiration date is the 9th. They always expire after the tourney date.

Thank you Goldbear, and thanks to HP for this cool freeroll. The deep stacks are a great change of pace, and of course it didn't hurt that I was hit by the deck almost from the get-go. That was about the best single run of cards I have ever had, hitting things like straights and full houses from the blinds even. Even when I got reckless pushing my stack around at the very end, I would still manage to suck out with a river set , or my pocket 5's would make a set against pocket 7's. Guess it was just my night. :waytogo:

Deep stacks, generous prize pool (at least until more people discover it and start posting and playing!), and $20.00 bounties - I'll keep posting as long as I can type!

The only thing I didn't get last night was decent cards. And the couple of times I did get them sholm13 drew better ones. :cry: :silly:

Oh Well, cant have everything everytime (next time - and from now on sholm, if I call YOU, figure I've got Aces - though I will probably still lose :silly: ).

Sean Kanan. I had Qc8c and limped in cause I had a feeling Terry was going all-in on the hand, Sean limped, Terry did go all-in as well as another player.

I said "I check in the dark" as I called. Intending to check down the hand no matter what hit. But the flop was Tc9c and another small non-club. Sean went all in with Ac and a pair of nines. I just couldn't lay down the straight flush draw and was getting more than the right price anyway.

Needless to say, neither the club or Ten showed up, and Sean gathered in a very large stack.

Ducky remembered the hand better than me. I knew Sean had a pair, and I remembered the Ac being out there and I defnitely had an inside straight flush draw. That's what I get for posting from memory at work where I couldn't verify the hand history...

My exit came like this, as I remember it: Middle of hour two. Levels were either 50/100 or 100/200. After calling a substantial raise by ??? (NINE times the BB, if I'm not mistaken, or was it 4.5X) and a rainbow, low card flop, I went all in (2000-ish more) with my pocket TT. My single opponent, who had checked to me and easily had me covered, called. The hand that I had marked AK or AQs was actually JJ. I don't recall the turn nor the river.

Had a blast playing with everyone involved.
