Am I missing it or is there an easy way to find the stars then they are on? I know that on Full Tilt when they have a pro playing the table is highlighted in red on the list. Makes it easy to find them without having to look at every table. Same for when they are playing in tourneys. Like I said - I'm fairly new to the site so if there is an easy way I don't know about, please enlighten me.

Hi Rev, Welcome to HP! You will love this site. The people here are very friendly, along with the staff and celebs.

There are 2 ways to know a celeb is here.

1. When they sign in, it will be announced in the lobby chat, either in red bold letters if your on the download or black bold letters from the website (java)

2. After they go to a table you will see a gold star next to the table name on the list that they are seated at.

Heres the trick. Being this site is sistered with another, this only works on the HP Only tables. An HP Only table will have two asterisks (**) in front of there names on the list. ie. **Magnolia Ave. If they are at a shared table, you will not see the star next to the table name and will have to ask the star in the lobby where they are or learn there alias names and look for them.

:waytogo: Thanks for the quick response. Was unaware that this was a "sistered" site. Who are we sistered with? Also, since I've only been playing for a week or so had yet to encounter the gold star. I'll be looking now. Also, an advice question: as a HP member should I be looking for the ** tables before I go to another? Thanks for your help...

I think Gary answered most of your questions but just wanted to add that most of the celebrities are on the West Coast so tend to be on later at night. The best time to see a celebrity is between 8 and 12pm Eastern time.

The ** are just Hollywood Poker tables and by all means play there, you can be sure when you are there that all the people you are playing against are on Hollywood Poker.
