View Full Version : Trouble logging in

Attempts to log in result in pop-up warning of transmitting info to non secure site. Even when I click "Yes" to proceed, the site returns to the log in page with blank userid and password fields.

I downloaded latest JAVA to be sure, but still have the same problem. I have not changed configurations since playing last and have never had trouble getting on.

I suspect I have some settings to change, but not sure what, when, how, why . . . .

Interestly, the screen on which I am typing this shows me as logged in, but when I attempt to play, I am taken to the log in screen and can go no further.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. (No response form support)

Hey PF Flyers,

Try deleting your cookies and trying again, there was a slight change to the login system today.

Fixed for now by requesting activiation code and attempting to activicate account. When I clicked on hyperlink in Email to activiate, screen showed userID, password (***) and activation code filled in, with a message "Account already activated". I was then able to log in.

Thanks for your help Dan. Don't know whether HP fixed the problem or the process of going through activation did it.

Hey PF Flyer,

I'm glad to hear you got in, and thanks for the indepth description of what you did. From the looks of the log, it seems like it was a combination with the slight change in the login and Internet Explorer not wanting to let go of one of it's cookies. Eventhough you deleted them, it was still trying to use one.

But in any case, it's good to hear you got in. :)

Let us know of any other problems you may have.
