Didn't have one at the table....no chance for a bounty. Shortly after the first break I went all in (short stacked) with K K. Got them cracked by 10 10 when another 10 hit the board. Out at 208!

Thanks Mike and all of HP for another great tourney. Wasn't so good for me but fun anyway. I never had a celeb at my table at all like Sav, as a matter of fact, I haven't had one in any of the MWI's either? whats up with that? No Biggie. It was a slow and consistant slide for me tonight as I had really bad cards. When I did have playable cards (maybe 3 hands) no hit on the flop or someone went all in at me and I was not strong at all. Never won a hand, out in 178th. LOL , It was alot of fun though! Whens the next one?

Very nice for you Cgar. Congrats! I'm so glad I turned down the chance to win it. You and your wife will have a wonderful trip. Course I guess, if your wify has a good sense of humor I could have went wiff ya, but then all those invites I got from the stars to go. Someone's nose would have been outta joint. So guess I will have to stay here with Mike, pester him and wait for the next great big tourney.

P.S. Mr. Manager! You will have to wait till I'm home from work for my post on the stars and all the juicy tidbits. Think you can wait that long???? LMAO.

I was not in the tournament (not enough points) but it was so much fun watching!

I even got to talk to James! I was so excited when I told him how sexy he is and he replied and thanked me.

This is a great website, where else would I be able to enjoy playing poker AND talk to stars like James Woods! (he's so hot!)

Thanks so much

I want to thank everyone for putting on a great tourney. Even though I only finished 13th. I had a great time. I think Cigar said he was taking me, but I was up way to late to remember. I didn't like being put out with Pocket QQ vs. A :spade: K  . But that is life in the fast lane. Look foward to beating, oops I mean playing with you all again. :waytogo: :waytogo:

I was unable to rack up my points in time to get into the big tourny last nite  , so who all cashed in on the bounties? What celebs got knocked out early so I know who I am hoping to get seated with at the next tourney? Anyone have a good story about how they beat up on the celeb at thier table last nite?

Great job, Cgar. Finishing second's never easy, but you handled every hand with class and showed some real skill. Why did I call with Queens and Threes?!? J/K

Have fun in LaLa Land and give Angelina Jolie a kiss for me.

Nice to see ya here cigs. Thanks Paktat for the update of winners. Congrats to everyone.

On behalf of us, may I present this cup to The HP People for their excellent job on making this tourney happen and to coaching us misfits through many questions that were slung at them last night and all week.

Lets have a big round of applause for...Patricia, Hollay, David, Dan and of course the manger of managers!...Mike. (If he can keep me managed hes good at his job!:silly: ).

Last nights tourney was truly amazing ... escpecially when it came down to the few final tables. As I watched all of them I noticed that the chat screen in the tourney lobby was nearly silent ... an occasional comment from Cgar and a few lol's.

His few comments had me watching his table more often than the others, feeling like I was part of that table thru his eyes. I became a cheerleader for him from that moment.

At one time he was way down, less than 50k when all others had 150k or more, not only did he hang in there ... but made several awesome comebacks!

When it came to the final table I was a firm Cgar fan! I don't believe there was any chat during the final table ... until the end when Cgar came in and said wooo hooo ... my wife is shaking! :)

It was truly amazing Poker, congrats to Red.Dogg and Cgar, it could have been either of them at any moment. In the end Cgar made better choices,
I have never enjoyed watching the wpt or wsop as much as I did the final table of last nights tourney.

The disappointment of my loss went out the window when I decided to cheer for Cgar. And when he won I was as elated as he, and his shaking wife!

Thanks guys for such and exciting evening, Have a wonderful time at the oscar party! We will all be with you in spirit!

I must say HP I was a little disappointed that you did not just sign Jimmy in, so if he arrived late as he did ... He could have played. All in all though the elation overrides the disappointment. You guys did a great job in aswering the barrage of questions thrown at you over and over!

I would have posted this last night, but after scraping my eyelids off my desk I decided to hit the hay and approach it fresh this morning ... er this afternoon :)

Have a Happy

This is Honey with the all your gossip and tailtelling for the Oscar night with the STARS. It was a fun filled night with many of the hobnobs appearing in full decked gowns and flashing white teeth.

The lobby was filled with stars, guest and anxious poker players biting at the bit. Pak the rat continually chased Hollywoods stars with a coat hanger. With most the guest and stars handing over their garments only to find their pockets ransacked. Pak wasn't to concerned at winning the game for he now had plenty of change for coffee.

Large cheers when James aka (Jimmy) Woods showed, however he didn't let his coat loose as a matter of fact...he didn't take it off! Next time Jimmy I will remind them to put you in the game. I had the pleasure of speaking with James in the parking lot of the hotel in his vehical, (yes you heard me right..in the parking lot of all places.) What a man, James Wood sitting in a car in a parking lot computer in hand..just to attend the HP Oscars! What an honor it was to laugh my head off at him :silly:.

His brother Michael of course also attended the gala. In his full bloom spirited manner he always is. Michael didn't have the luck he wanted but he did get a kiss from Honey. He was happy in the end.

Lady Katherine was doing exceptionally well in her rounds and the bounty hunters worked very hard to try to reach her. I think it was to get a peek not to poke. ;) I believe Gary is still wondering the halls looking for her.

Our own lovely Prairie Rose also held in there strong. I never actually watched her, but every now and then she would type in the lobby. Sorry! ohh ewww umm sorry! So we figured she was either winning or she was taking her frustrations out on poor Tex aka our (Stink).

HP Managers David and Mike kept up with all the demands and repeated questions. I believe the number 1 questions of the night was "Who is so and so?" . Honey didn't mean to make you two nervous (yes I did!). I think David will recover quickly.

Merv Griffin and his son Tony were among the favorites and when asked EH! Tony!! who are you? a total of 5 people said.....MERV's Son! (psst...I think a listing of stars and who they are would be a good posting). Tony graciously informed of his accomplishments and some were even surprised.

As for Mr Patten...we need to do some swoozin up to him I'm thinking! I believe I saw him running from the lobby LOL.

Congrats to all the top winners and to all those who played. See you all at the next Stars freeroll.

Sooooooo....this is Honey, reporting from Off the Cuff and I look forward to hangin in the lobby interviewing and (gabbin up a storm :silly:) with the HP Stars and the wonderful people that make it happen. See you then!!

Does James Woods have another screen name on this site. Last night in the tournament I knocked someone out w/ the screen name of Big Sick (or something like that) and everyone at my table told me it was really James? Just curious if I get some kind of bounty...

Bell, no that wasn't Jimmy. He didn't get signed into the Oscar Tourney, some sort of miscommunication there.

Still wandering Honey! :silly:

Of course thats what I was talking about. You don't think I'd tell em everything you tried do ya? Everything that happened? All the juicy tidbits? Hell no, HPMike would close the post :silly:

Where are our industrious leaders anyway? Haven't see hide nor hair of them today. Don't tell me we don't get moderated on Saturdays. Brewskie day! ;) Whos gonna watch over me?
