Well, after only two episodes, NBC's "Poker After Dark" is my new favourite poker show. It has a home game atmosphere, though it is a 6-seat winner-take-all freezeout, which is enhanced by the fact that the commentators mostly SHUT UP so that we viewers can hear what the players are saying. It's also a full game broken into 5 one-hour broadcasts, so most hands played go to air, with minimal editing.

Check it out, NBC weeknights at 2am EST (after Carson Daly where I live) and on Saturdays at 1am EST (after SNL).

You might learn something if you watched every hand played. Get a TiVo!! Makes recording this show a lot easier :waytogo:

i only wish i could afford tivo. I've ended up watching almost every show anyway.

I know more than anyone I need to learn how to better my play but I personally believe that the only way I'm going to learn more is actually play. I do enjoy watching most of these shows as I've watched repeats of almost every WSOP and US PC on espn and whatever other show out there that I can see. But that doesn't do much good when I can't question someone on a move that another made. Anyway hope you're enjoying the shows. I am as far as an entertainment perspective.

Your pal, Daniel N, won, of course! It's a rerun of one from weeks back, BTW.

You can always watch on line at:

It is on five mornings a week. Maybe if you would have watched the next episode you would have seen Daniel win.

Like I told another person in this thread, TiVo it!!! It makes things a lot easier :waytogo:
