Forum Guidelines
Celebrities:
The star-appeal of our site is one of the main things that set us apart from other on-line poker sites. Please refrain from insulting the celebrities. While there is no harm in critiquing professional work, personal attacks are simply rude and therefore, not acceptable. It’s a safe bet that you would not want them attacking you, so let’s keep it fair and friendly!
Sexually Explicit/Generally Obscene Images and Messages:
Forums are a place for personal expression, but we ask that you express yourself bearing good taste in mind. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene is not permitted in these forums.
Advertising:
Since this is a HollywoodPoker.com forum, please do not advertise for other poker rooms or gaming sites here. Affiliate codes and any other items that would be considered SPAM are included in this stipulation and they will be deleted.
Privacy:
Please do not release any information about another person on this site without that individual’s consent. We understand that some of our players may have personal off-site relationships, but divulging personal information about another person on this site is not acceptable. The onus is on each person to decide what she or he wishes to disclose about her or himself. No Live Help Transcripts may be posted in the forum at any time. Any issues or complaints about collusion, chip dumping, false account information, forgery or any other type of fraudulent activity should not be posted in the forum. These complaints should be addressed to the relevant Customer Support team.
Racism/Sexism/Swearing:
Prejudice does not exactly spawn the sort of fun-loving and friendly environment most of us would want to see in a forum. Any post that is deemed to promote and/or convey any sort of prejudicial message will be deleted immediately.
Personal Attacks:
Personal attacks are not permitted in the forums or in private messages. Of course we respect the fact that you may have differing opinions, but that does not justify attacking each other on a personal level. This includes slander, name-calling, threats, intimidation, bullying or any other type of harassment.
Private Messaging:
Private messaging is a feature that we offer our members, and it is a privilege and not a right. Private messages are not part of the forums and therefore we do not proactively moderate them. However it is unacceptable to carry out any kind of personal attacks or threats through our private message system. Should any members abuse this feature, it can and will be disabled. If you would like to disable this feature you can do so by going to: user cp/edit options and unchecking the “enable private messaging” box.
