Default I Really Enjoyed THAT!

Howdy everyone....

I was wondering how people liked these tournys? I was fortunate enough to get in on the first game. I am not a terrific holdem player but I did last for and hour and 20 mins. Woohooo for me. It was hard for ppl to get in who wanted in but there was only 20 seats at that 1st tourny.

With the enrolling set aside for a min, I wanted to find out how the ones who played the tournys through the night thought about them.

Such As .......

Were, they more relaxing to play? (No excess pressure)
Did you like that it wasn't going to be a 3-4 hour drawn out battle for first?
Would you play a table of 40 or 60 with that kind of payout?
30 ppl 3-tables @ 1/13.50 2/7.50 3/5.25 with 40 or 60 ppl in it?

I enjoyed the tourny last night, I am going to try another today if I can be quick on the draw.

Hollywood Poker minds want to know

Thanks for starting this thread honeycomb.

I would love to hear what our players think about the new freerolls.
We wanted to keep the max number small to keep these from taking hours to finish, while also keeping the value to the players respectable.

I realize that $20 and $30 isn't a whole lot of money but it breaks down to $1 for every entered player which in the world of freerolls is quite sizeable.

What do you guys think?

This was my second one that I just finished. There are a few things I like about it.

Firstly, the pressure of a high numbered freeroll like 300 players.. seems to not apply with a smaller number, at least for me.

I like to play sng tables with the 10 ppl count. Even tho the prize amount is great with 3 seats to win. It doesn't have the same excitement attached to it that a freeroll has for some reason. I'm sure there are people who prefer the higher stakes, but there is something to be said for playing a free game that gives you the bite you want and if you win... you get a token if not.. you still had fun and didn't cost you a red cent.

Whereas on the sng table tourneys.... it's more tense, serious play and when you don't place, you feel the pinch.

I truly hope that everyone who wants to try these tourneys, that over the next week they get a chance to do just that.

WTG HP, even tho there are some complaints of not being able to get in, this is a tremendous show of appreciate to us members in all its state.

The times weren't the best for me but the few I played were good for me. A lot like the easy money with some new names.
