So does this mean you have to be at the tables that end in 000,000 for a ticket? I know a lot of the tables I play at have a lot of people not on this site & the closest I've seen for me was 002,090. Just wondering.

Yes you are correct in that all players at the tables playing every millionth hand between 950 million and 1 billion (i.e. 950,000,000; 951,000,000; 952,000,000 .... 1,000,000,000) will be awarded tickets to the billionth hand freeroll

Is is just me or is that a lot of opportunities to win tickets?! Basically you need to be in the right place at the right time ... Hollywood Poker

It could be a lot of chances but when you announced it we were already over 980,000,000. I'm sure your going back over the hands played, when do you get the ticket if your at one of these tables? Do you have a rough estimate of how many are in so far?

Hi senatorwu1,

We will be awarding the billionth hand freeroll tickets all at once after the billionth hand has been played. We are estimating that the billionth hand will be played sometime Saturday night (June 18th) so players will probably receive their tickets the following Monday.

I honestly do not know exactly how many people have qualified so far, but I could give you a rough estimate. Since we are over 980,000,000 then that is 30,000,000 hands that have been played. Players sitting at the table for every millionth hand after 950,000,000 are awarded tickets and therefore players sitting at those 30 tables will qualify for tickets. I don't know exactly how many players were at each table without looking at the hand histories, however if you assume that there are 10 people at each table (which is obviously the maximum) then that would be 30*10 = 300 people that have qualified.

Again, there are so many variables that I can't give you a realistic figure.
