Television viewers will recognize the beautiful Brande Roderick from her role as lifeguard Leigh Dyer in Baywatch Hawaii, part of the Baywatch television franchise that lives in syndication around the world.

A native of Northern California, Roderick always knew she wanted to become an actress. She began her acting career in San Francisco working in a number of independent films and commercials.

With newly acquired experience and confidence, she headed for Los Angeles. Within one year, she landed a guest-starring role in the famed Aaron Spelling drama Beverly Hills, 90210.

Luck came Roderick's way when she was asked to audition for a small role on Baywatch Hawaii. During Roderick's screen test, executive producer/writer Frank South felt she "hit it out of the park" and gave her the starring role as Leigh Dyer.

In addition to her work in Baywatch Hawaii, she has also had guest-starring roles in Just Shoot Me, Jesse and The Love Boat: The Next Wave, in addition to a string of national commercials for products including Snickers, Mentos and Dr. Pepper.

Roderick has worked steadily in television and film. Already having been in the feature film Dracula II: Ascension, in which she stars opposite Jason London and Roy Scheider, and the television movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding. Brande's momentum has given her the opportunity to produce and star in an independent film, Miss Castaway, written by Bryan Michel Stoller.

In 2000, Brande was selected to appear in April's issue of Playboy magazine and, in 2001, she was named Playmate of the Year.

Roderick currently resides in Los Angeles. When she is not working, she likes playing softball, hiking in the canyons and bowling.

Hi... I'm kinda new here at HP... I see all these "Stars" and "Extras" (even) on the posts.. I'm just thrilled to be sharing the same Blog, if thats the right terminology. LOL Anyway look forward to finally meeting some of you Stars, and Extras too, at the table.

This is a great site as you are already seeing. Many of the stars and celebs will stop and say 'Hi' to you and converse in the lobby areas. Some do kinda blow through to their favorite games, but will then open up and be very cordial at the tables to the others seated there.

For your best bet be sure to play the Michael Woods Celebrity Invitational Tourney on Thursday nights. See the listings for it to get the starting time that is correct for your time zone. Sign up about 1/2 hour early and hang in the lobby to get a chance at chatting with the celebs. You may even have a celebrity or two seated right at your table. Take them out and you earn a BONUS 'Bounty' paid directly to your account approximately 24 hours later.

Likewise on Sundays, around noon time, again check the listings for your times, is the Celebrity Classic. These are the best shots, but as you already have seen, many celebs come and go all during the week.

Also, note in the listings for Tourneys and sit and gos the ** denotation preceding a room name. They are HP tables only, meaning they are not available to the greater network only exclusively for the Hollywood players. The celebs can play at all the tables but are more often found on these tables. Also, I think you will find much friendlier and better play at these tables that are within this community.

A lot more I can tell you about this site that you will enjoy, but this is some of the basics to get you started. All celebs here are at a minimum cordial and accessible but the ones I have found to be the most magnanimous so far are Michael Woods, his brother James, Pamela Gidley, Ronny Cox, Vince Van Pattan , Lenny Dykstra, just to name a few. Watch out for these names especially.
